Today I officially only have another 300 photos to take :D. Lovely day, finished my second commissioned scarf, which I’m dying to show everyone but I can’t because it’s a surprise for someone from someone else :3. Also had a haircut to get rid of le dry ends ^^, also painted my nails for tomorrow.

Shaun Liddle is a fine artist from Somerset West, Cape Town.He studied for three years in Fine Art at the Andrew Owen School of Art and Design, where he is currently the full-time lecturer for the senior Graphic Design department. It was here where he specialised in Illustration.
His initial plan was to go into animation and film, so he decided to only take the one-year foundation course. But upon further studying, he simply fell in love with art and the rich history thereof.
Having studied some graphic design and most of his friends being graphic designers, it played a vital role in his art and illustration; to the point that he freelanced for a while and thereafter worked as a permanent graphic designer for about 2 years. Upon realising that practising Graphic Design was not for him, he turned back to his original passion: painting.
So with Shaun teaching design, and it having an obvious influence on his work, he has a very graphic and design-like feel for his art, especially his later work.
